The icon of Our Lady of the Beatitudes was written by Anthony Dusza. It presents the Virgin Mary, the first disciple of Our Lord, as one who lived the Beatitudes so perfectly that one can say that she personification of the Beatitudes. In her hand, the Blessed Mother holds a lily of the valley, each blossom representing one of the Beatitudes. On the back of the 3" x 5" card is a prayer to Our Lady of the Beatitudes by the Benedictine Nuns of the Abbey of St. Walburga.
